Student 1: Eighth grader, entered the program with a "D" math average. Completed the program ending with a "B" average and acceptance to St. Paul High School.
Student 2: Eighth grader, entered the program with a "B" math average. Completed the program ending with an "A-"
Student 3: Fifth grader, entered the program with writing skills that did not include a topic sentence, detailed examples, nor did the student end with a conclusion. Completed the program writing a detailed 5 paragraph essay and a written chapter book report.
Student 4: Third grader, entered the program reading on a 1st grade level. Completed the program reading a third grade chapter book.
Students will demonstrate conceptual understanding of reading, mathematics, science and social studies. We co-support parents and assist students with their portfolio and we help students develop a balanced set of complex skills for life-long learning. Those skills include: comprehension, analysis, creativity and expression. We embed a culture of support, effort, and excellence.
